The MSLO Internship Program is designed for college level students to have the opportunity to work in one of the company's business segments: Publishing, Merchandising, Broadcast, Internet or Corporate. In order to be eligible for an internship, students must be able to receive credit and have completed their Junior year.

The eight-week summer program is held in New York City and combines full-time internship-employment with a comprehensive Education & Entertainment series including tours of the MSLO facilities, studios and group outings organized by the Internship Coordinators.

CANDIDATES MAY APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING INTERNSHIPS:

• Product Design
• Art
• Style
• Editorial Copywriters
• Licensing
• Radio
• TV Development
• Photography
• Edit Crafts
• Edit Home
• Human Resources

Note: Applicants should designate three top choices for assignment; however final decisions will be made by MSLO.

The program will run from the first week in June to the beginning of August. Internships may be paid or for college credit. Interns will be responsible for their own travel, housing, food and personal expenses.

THE APPLICATION PACKAGE MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Resumé. Please be sure that this resume accurately reflects your work experience (paid and unpaid) and any school or community activities that you would like us to know about. Include the name of all organizations, the title of your position and the dates of participation.

Personal Statement/Cover Letter. The letter should indicate why you want to be an MSLO intern, how your classes and experiences have prepared you for the internship program, and what you hope to contribute to your assigned position.

Writing/Design Sample. An example of the applicant's writing ability or design work if applicable. Samples should be submitted as a PDF, Word Document or Web Link.
